does a ms format verify the memory perfect when it is to be reformated to an
olympus format? it has been my experience that some cards do not like some ms
formats, refuse that format, and show error.

As I said, I do not know the format used within the Olympus camera to format
the card. I presume it is some proprietary thing. do I really care, and once
I know, what do I do with that knowledge?
