I see in my inbox that Mark has just beat me to the announcement,
but here are some extra details:

Someone on the list said that they were going to wait until
Leopard Mac OS X 10.5.1 came up before making a purchase.

Well, it is here, so buy away. I can confirm from my own
experience that it fixes a battery usage problem that I had
observed on my Powerbook (then saw had been reported
on in the support forums). I don't know if it affected MacBooks
or only older hardware, but I had been having the problem
that the battery would appear to drain much more quickly
than it would under Tiger, and then would suddenly go
into sleep mode without warning at around 40% charge.
This is now fixed, and I can again get 3+ hours per charge
with normal use instead of the less than 2 hrs that I had been
getting.

Also, I read from Gene Steinberg in today's Mac Night Owl
<http://macnightowl.com/> that the file move bug Tom
posted about has been fixed. Even if the bug is fixed, I
recommend to all and sundry to not move files between
volumes but instead to copy them and delete the originals
after you verify the copy was successful.
