in windows  rt click the screen>properties>settings>advanced>(depending upon 
card)>general>choose font size.  usually 96 or 120 DPI.  one can custom set, if 
enough card memory.  on my 24" monitors, I ran 1600 x 1200, and custom fonts of 
200 or 240 dpi.
