I've already answered this. It is not a "very old" model. I am comparing it
to the current iPod Classic, which Apple still makes, which sold 3+ million
units last year, and which was updated a couple of weeks ago. It is a very
current model. It is the only iPod you can buy if, for whatever reason, you
want a lot of storage. It is the only iPod you can buy if you can't afford a
Touch and you don't like the Nano's SquintyVision(tm) display. (Disclaimer:
I stole that from someone else, but I love it...)

If the Classic is so outdated, you'd think that Apple would cease selling it
rather than ruin their reputation by selling old junk for $250. Instead,
they update it.
