Now Tom that is pretty low even for you.

Have I ever really been just a WFB?

I think I have been pretty balanced the whole time I have been on this list.

You gave us an article and I went and read it (I really read it along with some of the comments)

I will note the author did go, he was just not allowed in some secret meeting that was part of the show, but he did attend most of the show. MS handled it very poorly. The individual who gave him a problem obviously never attended a Dale Carnegie course.

If you want people to write nice articles about you, you should treat them better than you treat this individual.

Plus note this guy writes rants on Windows Server.

Recently a friend of mine bombarded a list I moderate with all sorts of snide articles about our new president elect. Now he and I have similar political views, but I found the stuff he was posting was so obviously one sided that it was inappropriate.

Now I do not like Vista and I avoid it like the plague. Am I interested in Windows 7 obviously I am. I am also interested in the new OS's that Apple has been putting out.

But what I get tired of, is the one sided biases that some folks show when they review stuff.

I recently watched a review of the Blackberry Storm done by (Get this) two Iphone users. Built in bias!!!!! Pick someone who does not use either phone and have them compare and see what they like. That is a fair comparison.

Your recent rants on MS phones. MS has been in smart phones longer than Apple has. There are two version. Smartphones and PPC phones. The touch screens are PPC phones. I have used both and like both. They both have some strong points. But I can tell you right now. I prefer a non touch screen phone. I like a real qwerty key pad. What I would like to see is a standardization of the keypads (With all the keys even the special ones in the same places on all phones.) Plus a standardized charger/sync port.

Reviews can be written that are equitable and nice, without stooping to name calling and juvenile behavior.

I give up, but I don't concede.

I noted that the story I cited was selected only becaue it was recent. If
I had picked a different example you would be insisting that it was not
recent enough and the MS doesn't do that anymore. Or that stories
published on Wednesdays didn't count. Or whatever.

True believers will remain true belivers no matter what.
