We should note that CAs have been gradually converting away from MD5 and will now be doing so more rapidly. If you really want to be frightened, just go over to youtube and watch a video about "bump keys" (there are 100s). You can easily get detailed instructions for opening almost any lock in seconds. Curiously, almost nobody seems to be bothered by this.
