I use firefox, and quite recently I've noticed that I've had to double load
gmail every time, it lets me input my pass/login then goes blank showing the
progress bar *almost* complete, when normally at that next nanosecond your
email is displayed but it hangs.  I have to highlight the address bar again
and hit return and my mail appears.  After reading this from Tom, I
downloaded and installed chrome..gmail loaded the first time.
All things being equal I'd say it's simply a windows burp but who knows...
