I should have thought of looking for the information in my router, and I
should have checked Activity Monitor for the information more carefully.
I don't like the whole Dashboard/Widgets concept, but istat nano is a
cool one. As with most widgets, the info it displays and the info I was
after is in Activity Monitor/Network.
I've switched to a D-Link router and it seems to only show packets. A
packet seems to be somewhere between 1000 and 2000 bytes.
