How does one tell/notice that that is happening? Maybe mine does it too, or does it only happen on Mac USB ports? I haven't read the manual.
I have both an Olympus FE-5010 and a FE-370. In practice, when I connect my camera to my computer, I simply transfer all the pictures from the camera to the computer as a batch, disconnect/shut off the camera, and view the files on the computer using one of several photo viewers/editors.
