Hi!

I tried to book train tickets to/from London/Birmingham, but
thetrainline.com tries very hard to prevent me from doing so.

Somewhere in their 7-pages long registration process they ask for a
postcode and a country. I enter 'Austria' and an austrian postcode
('1020') which doesn't work ("Making sure you only use letters and
numbers" - ha!).

So I try a random UK postcode. Doesn't work either.

/me hates software.

I will now ask at our local railway station if they sell tickets, and
how much they are...

Anyway, at least I now have some rough view of the schedule:
London->Bimringham: 16:40->18:09 on 29th Aug
Birmingham->London: 11:40->13:54 on 2nd Sep

BTW: I arrive in Heatrhow at 14:50. Two hours for Heathrow->Euston are
enough?

My plane leaves at 15:50, minus 1 hour for checkin means I should be in
Heathrow at 14:50. How long does it takes from Euston to Heathrow? Hmm,
I should probably take an earlier train back...

Another question: When do shops open on Saturday in Birmingham/London? I
would like to do some shopping (vinyl, dvds, maybe clothes) on Saturday
and wonder whether I should stay in Birmingham or travel to London
early on Saturday. An hints are appreciated ...
