    C-x C-f adelicious

or

I think you are right, I would like to have that working as well.

Is this because autocompletion is tied to mouse events?  

It would be nice to be able to use the mouse to do more than click on
links.  I would love for <CTRL> left clicking on links, which in
normal firefox opens the link in a new tab, to open the link in a new
buffer, and <shift> left click to open in a new frame.
