Hi,

since commit db67ee42bfab73c1699a0303717fdc93e0731f01
(http://repo.or.cz/w/conkeror.git/commitdiff/db67ee42bfab73c1699a0303717fdc93e0731f01)
the conkeror .debs didn't work on Ubuntu anymore due to Ubuntu's
policy to keep xulrunner and firefox packages close to upstream's
versions without the heavy patching and renaming Debian does. The
Conkeror Debian packages since July 2009 relied on the possibility to
use symbolic links to xulrunner-stub instead of hardlinks or copying
xulrunner-stub.

I reverted /usr/bin/conkeror in the Debian package to the old one
(with some minor updates) which doesn't rely on xulrunners ability to
find the newest installed xulrunner itself. Instead, the script itself
tries to find the newest xulrunner as before, based on the path and
file name. Tested it in a karmic chroot.

A new conkeror package including this fix is available at
http://noone.org/debian/conkeror_0.9.1+git100110-1_all.deb

It has been also uploaded for Unstable to my APT repository at
http://noone.org/apt/.

And from tomorrow on the nightly built conkeror .debs at
http://noone.org/conkeror-nightly-debs/ should work again on Ubuntu,
too.

I'll probably upload a new conkeror package including this fix to
Debian soon, too, so Ubuntu should be able again to use Debian's
conkeror packages unmodified.

                Regards, Axel
