Hi,
sorry for the late notice, forgot that this affects also the nightly
builds:
Last week my home server had severe problems with the system disk.
Buying a new disk didn't help, much, the problems were back the other
day.
If it's the motherboard which is broken, I've got a bigger problem: I
had to wait several months for that motherboard (VIA EPIA SN18000G)
when I build that machine. And it does not to be available at any of
my usual dealers although it is still listed on the manufacturerer's
site. (Which is totally broken and only shows completely empty details
pages due to hte main table having the attribute style="visibility:
hidden;". Doh.)
And at least when I built that machine, I had no big option: I need a
low power Mini-ITX board (max. consumption 120W including the 4 3.5"
SATA data discs and the 2.5" PATA system discs), so all of those
bazillion Intel Core2Duo Mini-ITX boards where the CPU already needs
up to 65W are out of question.
I hope that a BIOS update will fix that issue and the third reinstall
will not go havoc as the first two tries (on the original disc and the
new disc).
Since I was away over the weekend and I've quite a lot of work this
week, I neither haven't found time to work on that issue nor did I
noticed that the nightly builds stopped.
If I don't get forward with this, I'll setup the nightly builds on
another host which will be 64-bit, so the spawn-helper will be build
only for 64-bit then.
P.S.: Thanks to gzeus for the hint about the fact that the above broke
the conkeror nightly builds, too.
Regards, Axel
