OK, now to the problem that led to this whole adventure:
When it's launched, Conkeror works perfectly well with flash-infested pages. But then, at a time of its choice, it gets fed up and starts throwing this message when it sees anything flashy: This page contains information of a type (application/x-shockwave-flash) that can only be viewed with the appropriate Plug-in. Click OK to download Plugin. If the default were No it would be fine, since I'm happy to ignore almost all such requests. But the default is Yes, so I have to go with the mouse to click the No button. The result is that nowadays I have to restart Conkeror every hour or so (it used to be less frequent). Oh - and my MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH includes the directory where the flash plugin sits (/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so). Also, M-x extension shows, under Plugins, "Shockwave Flash 10.1 r53". Thanks! Silvio _______________________________________________ Conkeror mailing list [email protected] https://www.mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/conkeror
