Hi,
I'm running conkeror.mozdev.org conkeror 0.9.3 on Ubuntu 9.04 with Mozilla XULRunner 1.9.0.16 - 2009121601 I use AdBlock with Firefox and, spurred by the bookmark management discussion, I tried to install it under conkeror following the instructions in http://conkeror.org/Extensions I was only able to download the .xpi file with wget, otherwise nothing happens. I then installed it using M-x extensions, and restarted Conkeror. Nothing happened so I realized there were no filters set. I tried to set a filter subscription with M-x extensions -> (ABP) Preferences at which point I got this error: Console error: [JavaScript Error: "uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) [nsIPrefBranch2.getIntPref]" nsresult: "0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://global/content/bindings/findbar.xml :: :: line 371" data: no]"] I continued by clicking Filters -> Add Filter Subscription and choosing the one I use with firefox (EasyList English). As I clicked "Add Subscription" I got the further errors Console error: [JavaScript Error: "reserved slot index out of range" {file: "file:///home/levy/.conkeror.mozdev.org/conkeror/ob4s9o5y.levy/extensions/%7Bd10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d%7D/modules/Synchronizer.jsm" line: 248}] Category: XPConnect JavaScript Console error: [JavaScript Error: "reserved slot index out of range" {file: "file:///home/levy/.conkeror.mozdev.org/conkeror/ob4s9o5y.levy/extensions/%7Bd10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d%7D/modules/Synchronizer.jsm" line: 274}] Category: XPConnect JavaScript These errors seem to prevent it from loading the filter list: in particular, the filter list is again empty if I restart Conkeror. Thank for any help, In case it matters the xpi I downloaded seems to be the latest stable version: https://adblockplus.org/devbuilds/adblockplus/adblockplus-1.3rc.20101030.xpi Silvio _______________________________________________ Conkeror mailing list [email protected] https://www.mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/conkeror
