Hi,
JFYI: In case you use my nightly builds or the official Debian
packages of Conkeror, and GitHub seems broken (no CSS, 404s where
others get proper pages, etc.), remove the string "git" from your User
Agent string, e.g. by putting the following in your conkerorrc:
default_pref("general.useragent.extra.conkeror", "Conkeror/0.9.3");
This overrides the default which is:
default_pref("general.useragent.extra.conkeror", "Conkeror/"+version);
and contains the "(Debian-0.9.3+git110124-~nightlybuild1295824021)"
addition of the Debian package version in
/usr/share/conkeror/application.ini.
I just reported the bug at GitHub at
http://support.github.com/discussions/site/2986-site-broken-if-the-browsers-useragent-string-contains-the-substring-git
And don't forget to remove that line as soon as the bug is fixed.
Alternatively you can enter the above statement also at the M-:
commandline everytime you start conkeror. :-)
Kind regards, Axel
