With the patch I proposed devices with zero MAC addresses are not going
to be used at all. The only thing that would work for such devices is an
unplug/plug-in sequence, hoping that the MAC address would show up
properly the next time. All other parts of ConnMan should continue
working, though.
Is it possible for you to report the MAC address issue to the Linux
kernel driver maintainer? Proper drivers should now show up with zero
MAC addresses, ever.
