14.1 will be supported as long as PV will support 14.1 :) There are no planned life cycles in Slackware based distros. The latest security updates for server related software were down to 14.0, the latest desktop related updates only for 14.1 and -current resp. 14.2.
As for the Trisquel forum: That is, well, the Trisquel forum, not a general announcement forum. Besides, this is still a beta release, maybe I'll drop a note there when the final release is ready.
