Canadian Association for Conservation Grant Opportunities 2016 CAC Professional Development Bursary The deadline for the second round of 2016 CAC Professional Development Bursaries has been extended until October 31, 2016. Up to two amounts of $500 is available to support transportation, accommodation and registration for a conservation conference, workshop or seminar. 2016 CAC Training Activity Grant - $2500 This grant is awarded each year to an individual CAC member who is organizing an activity that informs or trains people working in the field of conservation in Canada. This can include lectures given by specialists (Canadian and foreign), seminars consisting of one or more days of lectures, workshops with hands-on practice. There have not yet been any applications for this grant in 2016. If you are organizing a training activity for conservators, do consider submitting an application.
