TIME SENSITIVE Opportunity - Grants and Funding Manager at The National Archives, Kew, Richmond (UK) As part of a lively team, your role as Grants and Funding Manager is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving forward funding success at The National Archives. You will be the lead within The National Archives in advising on and helping to develop strong grant applications in order to win funding to enable research at The National Archives. You will also promote the reputation and credibility of The National Archives with the internal and external research community, and contribute to the development of communications and strategic relationships between The National Archives and funding bodies. Context Research is vital to The National Archives, and a recent restructure has increased its centrality and importance, in order to enable innovation and progress, and raise our reputation. The Research team within the Research and Collections Directorate underpins organisational business priorities and objectives through leadership in research and grants co-ordination, and the application of research findings to business-critical research questions for the benefit of The National Archives, the wider archives sector, academic, government, and public communities. The National Archives' new business plan outlines some major deliverables dependent on this role, and in order to be successful in our ambitions to grow the number of successful funding bids and increase funding, we need a candidate who has experience and knowledge of the field.
