The Head of Objects Conservation performs highly skilled work in connection with the conservation of various works of art. The primary responsibility of this position is the long-term preservation, conservation, and technical study of over 12,000 objects in the permanent collection of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, as well as duties related to temporary exhibitions and the lending of objects to other institutions.
