Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural Properties (TNRICP) is currently accepting applications for two workshops on the conservation and restoration of Japanese art objects on paper and silk, in Berlin. Topics: Mounting formats, Materials and techniques, General principles of conservation and restoration in Japan, Handling practice of scrolls and screens "Advanced - Restoration of Japanese screens-" 10th – 14th July 2017 Participants: maximum of 9 Applicants: conservators and restorers who already have an advanced knowledge of Japanese restoration and conservation techniques.
