The City of Ottawa seeks treatment proposals and accompanying quotes from qualified, regional conservators for the seasonal maintenance of a permanent site specific outdoor public artwork. The artwork consists of three sculptures, each sculpture is composed of an anodised aluminum and stainless steel structure as well as a bronze element. The sculptures are structurally sound, surface cleaning and application of protective microcrystalline wax is requested. Experience working with pigmented waxes is required.
Cleaning and treatment is expected to be done on-site and all on-site work must be completed before June 30th, 2017. Deadline to submit treatment proposals and quotations is April 20th, 2017.
