Dear colleagues, My name is Feroza Verberne-Khurshid and I am currently undertaking field-research for my Masters dissertation in Preventive Conservation at Northumbria University (UK). The aim of my Masters research is to determine which aspects of Preventive Conservation should be included in legal agreements between museums and external parties and how they are monitored and managed in museums.
I have set-up an online survey to gather the most information possible concerning professional practices in museums on this subject and to determine whether museum practices essentially differ between countries. The survey is aimed at professionals in the fields of collection management, collection care management, legal advisors within institutions, cultural heritage organizations, preventive conservation managers and all staff members who are responsible for the implementation of preventive conservation within cultural institutions.
