We have published general guidelines for vibrations in museums (see ICOM-CC 2014 proceedings and the upcoming IIC meeting in Turin), but in order to help you, I need some information about your specific situation. If you could send me a few more details about the location of the light-rail tracks with respect to your storage depot, a photograph or two of the reels etc., and the type of damage you are concerned about, e.g. loosening of the film rolls, damage, I can help you at a distance better.
