Applications are now being accepted for the prestigious Nigel Williams Prize 2019!
The Prize rewards conservation work in ceramics, glass and other related materials and is the result of the collaboration between Nigel Williams’ family and Icon’s Ceramics & Glass Group. It was created to serve both as a memorial to Nigel’s work and to encourage continuing high standards at all levels within the profession. The Nigel Williams Prize is for an outstanding Professional and/or Student project focusing on the conservation/restoration of ceramic, glass or a directly related material, being interventive or preventive in scope. Submissions are welcome from individuals or collaborations, either in the private or public sector. ELIGIBILITY - Entries are invited from any member of The Institute of Conservation (Icon), the International Institute for Conservation (IIC) AND, this round only, from ICOM-CC members. The project must have been completed within three years prior to the next Award deadline DEADLINE for applications - 4 February 2019.
