Small book and paper conservation lab looking for vacuum suggestions that have gentle enough suction to work on rare/brittle books but still effectively pick up dirt and mold. We are looking for a canister style vacuum with HEPA filters priced below $500. Are there places or sites that have used conservation equipment? Anything that we should look for that is NOT recommended for conservation use?
