The Getty had a nice publication in 2017 on using Regalrez 1094 40% in Shellsol for filling scratches. It is probably the most "reversible" fill option out there with good optical properties. You might try lower concentrations first and build up as needed. https://www.getty.edu/conservation/our_projects/education/cons_plastics/paper_2017_icom_cc.pdf Best of luck, Emy Emy Kim Assistant Professor, Artifacts Conservation Queen's University [email protected] ****** Unsubscribe by sending a message to [email protected] Searchable archives: http://cool.conservation-us.org/byform/mailing-lists/cdl/
