We need to trap any incorrect data being thrown at continuum coming from any
interface. The best place to try this is the integration tests that we run from
python. I accidentally used some bad POMs using the xmlrpc interface and in the
web interface the projects seems to stay perpetually in the "Checking Out"
state.
