I don't have any contra dances as such, but our rural Maine dance (Dover-Foxcroft) is more like the Old Days where we do a variety of styles in addition to contra. We never get beyond easy contras, and no one complains.
Next week we will be doing Dudley Laufman's *Ribbon Dance*, which is a simple longways to the tunes of Ding Dong, Merrily on High (A) and Deck the Hall (B). We'll probably do a circle warmup to Jingle Bells, and we might very well dance *Sir** Roger de Coverly* after the break. I will be watching this space for easy, festive contras!
