The latest major release, 25.0.3, fixes the bug. Perhaps 25.0.1 was a release
in their beta channel since they release major releases on a 4 month cycles and
there is less than 3 months between 25.0.3 (major release) and 25.0.1.
I'm not sure how many SME users would want to authenticate against Active
Directory. I certainly don't think this is an edge case use of Nextcloud.
Noted on the PHP versions. I did search bug reports and didn't realize
upgrading the php-fpm pool version = upgrading php version.
