there are a lot of issues with acl. there is not a single standard but dozen
which are not intercompatible. we use posix as this os the best supported over
linux, but not on all fs. samba had an historical support for posix, but does
not support it if you are in AD and instead support windows acl which is
incompatible.
if you start using windows acl AD samba then you get different behaviour on
file access depending on how you access it : samba or ssh/ftp/…
