Hi,

Thank you very much for the details on the project.

Subject: RE: [controller-dev] [unimgr] Opendaylight support for Presto

Hi Aliza,

Unimgr project is meant to support NRP Presto API as one of supported MEF
interfaces.

Implementing Presto for ODL we want to cover OpenCS Packet WAN use case defined
by MEF. In a nutshell we want to support resource provisioning over network
segment consisting of heterogeneous equipment.

Currently we have implemented infrastructure to support multi-vendor resource
provisioning as well as we are working on "so called" activation drivers that
are capable to configure/provision specific types of devices.

We plan to improve the implementation (e.g. adding full support for bandwidth
profile) and coverage of possible use cases ( e.g. to support multi-point
provisioning) - which is rough plan for ODL Carbon. As Boron reached code
freeze stage of development we plan to update the documentation to better
reflect what is currently available.

We have technical calls running on Wednesdays - please contact David for call
details.

We have as well conceptual calls starting from today:

https://wiki.mef.net/display/CTO/OpenCS+Packet+WAN+Project+Call+In+Details,

All interested parties are welcome to participate.

Greetings,

Bartosz

Hi Aliza,

I am somewhat familiar with the project for the Ethernet service life cycle
management interfaces.
As I understand this project has focused on the implementation of the models
via the OpenDaylight NBI and is natively supported via the RESTful interfaces
provided by OpenDaylight. I understand the project is further developing the
models in Boron, but for more details suggest reaching out to David (Goldberg,
David [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) directly.

Regards,
        Chris

    Hi,

I refer to MEF 55 Open LSO Presto protocol for service configuration.

    We found the project
https://wiki.opendaylight.org/view/Unimgr:Documentation which refers to LSO,
yet we are not sure if the interface implemented is Presto,
and whether the project is operative.

    do you mean https://prestodb.io/ ?

No, can you clarify what do you mean by 'to connect OpenDaylight
controller'?

    Bye,
