yes fbset works. the consoles are correct. I have also tryed : /usr/sbin/fbset 1024x768-75 -depth 15 Xautoconfig3 Xautoconfig4 startx (with Xpmac and XFree86 servers) same results : bad blue-grey screens... :-( FC
