Dear all,
I would like to install mandrake-ppc on my PM7600. However, when I used
BootX,
it couldn't find CDROM. I tried to load MESH and 53C94 modules, but none of
them
worked. I browsed the mail-archives and found Phil's BootX.
After following the instruction
given, I still couldn't make it work. The error message is
[skip]
Machine check in kernel mode (regs at c057b9do)
caused by (from srr1): unknown values in srr1.
[skip]
kernel Panic. Reboot in 180 secs.
I also tried the kernels from CD but they didn't work either.
The following is `dmesg |grep scsi`
(scsi0) <Adaptec AHA-294X Ultra SCSI host adapter> found at PCI

My harddisk is connected to it. But

Can anybody give any suggestion?
Best regards,
