For you gnome users, theres a new/old gnome-control center
at:

http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~sbenedict/

You'll also want the xscreensaver updates there.

You probably need to uninstall gnome-control-center-plus, and possible
gnome-pilot, as well as manually rm -fr /usr/share/control-center/
(check and make sure it's not owned by anything:
        rpm -qif /usr/share/control-center)

This rolls back to version 1.4 of the control-center, which does not use
the bonobo-moniker stuff. I fought for a while with 1.5, and did not
really come up with a working solution. With 1.4 you can at least change
the settings.
