Old World Mac boot issue (ide_pmac_dmaproc)

when booting using TAM with Sonnet L2 G3 upgrade the 2.4 kernel from 8b2, I 
get message (not only once...):

ide_pmac_dmaproc: chipset supported ide_dma_lostirq func only: 13

Any workaround available?
