both KDE 2 and 3 has the same font problem:

if i use drakfont to read the euro sign it shows right for iso8859-15 charset.

if i try to choose on kde control center the same font with the same charset it
doesn't show the euro sign (it seems to use a diferent charset).

i've changed my default.kmap and put it to work with the portuguese layout
(i've to do it on X also, because the PT layout for the mac doesn't map the
keyboard right - and the default install of 8.2 maps a PC keyboard...)

how can i configure fonts on KDE and make it use the fonts and charset that
drakfont uses?

on the mandrake 8.1, and out of X, the default charset allows the euro symbol
to be show - on 8.2 release it no longer works.

thanks
