Hello, I need some help with kde.
With my SBLive KDE sounds are ok ( but only using some old kernel )
I want use other kernel's and changed SBLive for SB128 PCI sure that left some
feature but get a card that works.
Installed the card using kernel modules or alsa drivers/utils and
all works fine but not kde.
kde start without messages such "unable to start audio server " ( or
something like ) and this mean that the sound card works
kpanel ( info ) reports that the sound is not supported or the info is not
available. ( with SBLive I get the complete info )
Going to "Sound" panel the audio is always on and I can test the .wav.
But kde still mute ( does not use sound/events )
Some suggestion?
