I will change 

        loadkeys file.inc && success || failure

to 

        loadkeys file.inc >& /dev/null \
         && success || failure


("file.in" being one of backspace.in or delete.in depending on the value
 of the BACKSPACE variable in /etc/sysconfig/i18n; the default is delete.in)
