You know, I'm starting to get a little peeved. When I use the updates
utility with v7 I get a empty listing of updates. I've gone to several
mirrors- the updates directory for v 7.0 and 7.00 is empty on every single
one. I go to the linux-mandrake ftp site and the pub directory listing is
empty, I go to the mandrakesoft ftp site and there's no updates directory.
When I select the mandrakesoft directory it tells me the directory doesn't
exist.

Why bother posting these update messages when there's no way to download the
updates. The whole process of releasing v7 is becoming ludicrous. You guys
really need to figure out what's going on and fix it. Right now I'm telling
people if they want to use Mandrake to stay as far away from the new version
as possible. I've done beta testing for several software companies and this
is rapidly becoming the biggest foul-up I've ever seen. As of this week, v7
is being pulled off my computer. There's no use in trying to test the
product when I can't even get to the bug-fixes you keep saying you've
released.

I like your distro, I like where you're headed, but I can't believe how
disorganized this whole thing feels from my end.

Sam
