The cost of a spare 20MB drive is now cheaper than the cost of commercial data
recovery.
A buddy set up a Linux app server using two 20MB drives in removable (and therefore
swappable) bays, using dd to mirror the drives each night - beats tape backups: if a
drive fails, just swap and re-boot.
