I too have been having problems with my wheel mouse.
It's a Microsoft Intellimouse-p/s2.
The only time I'm actually able to use the wheel is when I open a console,
su to root and then type 'imwheel'. it then starts. If I close the console
window then the wheel stops working. If I try to do this as a regular user,
I get an error message
How can I get it to work automatically?
