I have a work machine and a home machine each using different video drivers and different mice, so this problem does not seem to be hardware related, I have noticed that If my mouse pointer is on the edge of the screen during the logon/logoff process, Then when I get to the desktop and/or back to kdm I PERMENANTLY LOSE MY MOUSE POINTER !!!! THIS IS A VERY BAD SERIOUS BUG !!!!!
