I thought without calling ldconfig, the binary would fail to load the dynamic library. But it's not true :) /etc/ld.so.cache is just for speedup. i'm going to patch ldconfig so that it just returns $DURING_INSTALL, and see how that goes. thanks, cu Pixel.
