Second, although this probably doesn't matter for your FAQ, forget what I said about both VST-on-linux projects failing; apparently, there is now a working VST-LADSPA wrapper (oh frabjous day!), and it's available for Mandrake in Thac's audio packages (http://rpm.nyvalls.se/sound9.1.html).
