------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-03-12 20:59 ------- I tried mousedrake from the command-line but I still can't get the wheel to work. What exactly did you do, Brett, in order to get it working? Thanks. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] status: UNCONFIRMED creation_date: description: I tried running HardDrake (menu in KDE desktop: K, Configuration, Hardware, HardDrake) to configure the mouse. I had selected the wrong mouse and the scroll wheel was not working. But no matter what I set it to, HardDrake keeps telling me the following: Location on the bus: 0:0 Old device name: /dev/psaux Name: Standard Number of buttons: 2 Type: PS/2 I click “Run config tool” and change the setting to, for instance, “Logitech MouseMan+” or “Generic PS2 Wheel Mouse” but the text on the right side (previous paragraph) never changes. And the mouse wheel never starts working, although I do get some random right clicks while the tool apparently is switching the mouse driver. This is Mandrake Linux 9.1 beta 3.
