Why did you mark this as a tmdns bug?? And no mention of DHCP?? I would have
marked this as a duplicate of 1222 long ago, and you could have had a fix ...

Start drakconnect
configure lan network card in dhcp client and add a host name like
toto.mandrakesoft.com
Finish wizard

try to ping a computer on the LAN network. Oupps you have this message "unknown
host ...."

edit the /etc/resolv.conf

see you have the loopback for the first nameserver and the good nameserver on
the second place but if you put the loopback in the second place work perfect.

Paid attention, if you restart network (service network restart) the change are
null and you have the same problem, I suppose Zeroconf it was the source of this
bug.
