Don't the NForce chipsets require proprietary drivers for the on-board network
interface? AFAIK, sound should work (using i810 driver), but there is no way to
get the network card working without the proprietary drivers. There will be
drivers available in Club and in the boxed sets, which should work out-the-box.

Drakconnect seemed to detected the nvidia south bridge NIC ok and would tell me 
that it had written the configuration, however when I tried to bring up eth0 
there was nothing there. I appears as if drakconnect is doing everything but 
actually writing the configuration.




System: Athlon 2700+, Asus mobo A7N8X (nforce2), 1G DDR ram, Hercules Prophet 
9700Pro video card.
