Is this still valid?

If so, what says:

# ifstatus -v

# ifconfig

description:
I have to connect my machine manually at each new startup. All the services
depending on the network seem to be disable. Using DrakConnect to connect to the
network restore the connection.
It seems to be related to your new feature: "Hot plugging of network interfaces".

I have found a possible clue in /var/log/daemons/warning :
Feb 5 19:12:49 localhost ifplugd[989]: Warning: Could not get interface address.
Feb 5 19:20:33 localhost ifplugd[2956]: Warning: Could not get interface address.
Feb 5 19:20:44 localhost ifplugd[3309]: Warning: Could not get interface address.
